Welcome TO THE NEW VANFEST WEBSITE!


It has been a long time coming but we have finally got round to updating the Vanfest Website. We hope you like what you see & will continue to develop the site over the next year or so to bring you a whole lot more new features and a lot of other Vanfest Material not seen before.

What started as a small event in 1994 at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern UK has grown to become the worlds largest event for owners, lovers and enthusiasts of Volkswagen Transporter Vans with over 8000 vehicles & around 25000 people attending over the weekend. Held over 3 days in September the event provides absolutely everything and anything you could possibly want to do with transporters plus a whole lot more.

 

This years event will be over the weekend of  9th - 11th SEPTEMBER 2011

VANFEST LATEST NEWS

VANFEST VANCY DRESS -   A FANCY DRESS COMPETITION for you AND your CAMPER.

This is something NEW for this years VANFEST which the whole family & friends (including your van) can get involved in. Many of you already dress up to go to our evening entertainment; (others because you just like dressing up!). Why not get your van involved as well?

Show and Shine
This year we have numerous themes running at VANFEST over the weekend, so there is plenty to chose from if you cannot manage to come up with something yourself. Many Clubs are also taking part in our Themed Club Plot Competition as well so a “VANCY Dress VAN in the VANCY DRESS Competition could also be part of it as well.

THE VENUE

The MALVERN SHOWGROUND is well signposted & located to the South East of Malvern Worcestershire. (M5 Junction 7 or 8 (GPS Postcode WR13 6NW). The site has excellent facilities, toilets, showers large halls, restaurant & a wide range of mobile caterers including a shop selling basic provisions.

There are also going to be some more improvements made to the Showground site during the next year. The Severn Hall is having a make over and is going to be  enlarged. There will also be some modifications made to our new  “Sheep Shed  Stage” Venue on the site. We are also hoping that there is going to be further improvements to the water supply around the site, plus TWO new camping areas. All of this comes complete with fabulous views of the Malvern hills.

VANFEST is now a FULL THREE DAY EVENT. We will be open for BOTH TRADE & DAY VISITORS (as well as CAMPING) from 10.00 on Friday 9th SEPTEMBER. Camping is by advance booking only. Day visitors pay on the gate on the day. Traders will have to be in place, set up and ready to trade from 10.00 on the Friday. To do this we/you will be building up the Trade Areas from the Thursday (or earlier by arrangement with our Trade stand Manager).

There is also a new trade Autojumble  area in the BROWN Car Park (next to the “Vehicle Sales Area”,  for traders unable to set up in the Main Trade area before the Friday Deadline. Check out TRADE page for more info.
